KOSHINO JUNKO fashion show

20 years has pasted since JUNKO KOSHINO performed her first fashion show in prominent club of Cuba,

Cabaret Tropicana and Salon Rosado in 1996. And, her friendship with Cuba has been continuing, and again, she had second fashion show in 2000, and third fashion show in 2009 held by the request of ambassador of Japan in Cuba, as the 80th anniversary event of establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Cuba.

Director of fashion show in 1996 was Mr. Santiago Alfonso. There was no professional model at those days

And, director in 2009 was Mr. Rafael Hernandez Fauret. Two magnificent Maestro handled their own dancers as model of fashion show.

It was “Dancing fashion show”. Director of Dance Company in Cuba is famous and popular domestically, in positon of high social status and respected by Cuban. In 2009, Maestro, Mr. Rafael leading Dance Company “PARISIEN” of prestigious hotel “Hotel national” told me small jealous about fashion show in 1996 directed by his senior Maestro, Mr. Santiago, when I handed photography collection of fashion show in 1996, “Memory of Dream of summer night in Cuba”.

It took so long time, but I came to finish editing new photography collection, “Cuba JUNKO KOSHINO En La Habana 2009”

Two decades since first fashion show.

The new trend of times, as normalizing relations between Cuba and the United States is coming up to Cuba.

Many friends in the world always ask me “why you had fashion show in Cuba”.

But, I couldn’t figure out reason in my mind.

If I have to say something, Cuba taught me new standard of value in this world.

I am glad if you start to think about journey to Cuba, heated by this photography collection.
